Southern Boy

I love this age! Ben and Lauren are so much fun right now. It makes me sad that I missed it with Jack. When Jack was 22 months I was only focused on the things he was doing that were annoying me because I had such bad morning sickness. My strongest memory of Jack is when he would get scared and cry when I was throwing up. When I knew I was about to get sick I would dial my parents on the phone and have them talk to him so I could blow chow.

This morning I went into the Ben and Lauren's room and said, "good morning guys!” Lauren said "morning mommy", then looked at Ben and said "morning Ben Jim". I know Ben and Lauren were born in the south, but I don't remember giving him a double name like Jim Bob, Billy Joe or Bobby Ray!
