For The Record...

The cake was a success. Everyone seemed to like it. The kids even wanted to eat their steak when they saw what they were missing. I am going to have to put a note in my cookbook, 40 minutes in the oven is the key!

I don't think it looked bad at all! Making a cake appear beautiful is quite a task, and really... the prettiest cakes are the ones with fondant and those taste horrible :)
