Whatever Toots Your Trigger!

I was giving Jack a bath this evening and he was attempting to make conversation by asking what each part of his Diego toy was.
Jack: (pointing at Diego's goggles) What's this mom?
Me: Goggles
Jack: (pointing at Diego's life vest) What's this mom?
Me: A life jacket
Jack: (pointing at Diego's fins) What’s this mom?
Me: Fins
Jack: Wrong! They are flippers.
Me: Flippers is just another way to say fins, most swimmers and scuba divers call them fins.
Jack: (pointing at Diego's watch) What’s this mom?
Me: His watch
Jack: What does he use it for?
Me: To tell time
Jack: Wrong! When people want to talk to Diego they appear on a flip up screen like a computer. Do you still think it is a watch?
Me: Yes
Jack: whatever toots your trigger, mom...but you are wrong!
Me: Do you mean whatever toots your horn?
Jack: No, I mean trigger, like a gun
Me: Do you mean whatever trips your trigger?
Jack: No, I mean toot like a stinky
